On Thursday 21 September, Christine Liebrecht was present at the Conversational Conference, a conference for (mainly) professionals in the field of customer contact by means of chat, messaging, voice, AI & chatbots. The event was sold out (>300 professionals) and held in the Jaarbeurs Utrecht.
On behalf of the NWO Smooth Operators project, Christine presented the newest research on customer service chatbot introductions: the first impression customers might get when a chatbot pops up on their screen because of the verbal and visual elements the chatbot shows. The talk was based on a content analysis of 89 chatbot introductions of Dutch organizations.
